Mike was drafted by the New York Mets out of High School in 1998. Pitched for Stanford University from 1999-2001 where he played in 3 straight college world series and 2 national championships in 2000 and 2001. He currently holds Stanford's career win percentage mark with a 14-1 record. Mike played in the prestigious Cape Cod League in 1999 and 2000 and was the winning pitcher in Brewster's championship game in 2000. Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2001 Mike played 5 seasons in the minors with the Cardinals and Padres organizations and was named minor league player of the month for the Cardinals in June 2002. He is currently coaching in our 13 under program.
